Can you believe all these weird murders and deaths and bad tidings just washing up all over the world? Makes you really pause and agonise over what the world is coming to doesn't it? For 10 minutes at least.

Sometimes I stop and think, about my life and about changing, but then the days go by as normal and people forget. You started out thinking I have to appreciate and treasure what I have but you still lose your temper, you still forget to kiss goodbye in the morning before you leave for work and you still can't come off that high peg to apologise for all the hurt you have caused in the past.

Life is too short to spend it being angry and bitter and envious. If we love ourselves, love life and love the people around us for who they are, good or bad, even a short life will be a life well-lived.

Wouldn't you rather laugh and be beautiful than scowl and skulk? If you do the latter too much, trust me, pretty soon there'll be no one left around you to care!

Well, not going to be around to update my posts for some time. Hope you don't miss me too much. But before I go, I would like to ponder on a small little item that sometimes crops up in people's lives and loves. Have you ever thought about blind dates? I wonder what it would be like to go on one? Especially with all the pressure involved....I think these set-ups rarely work anyway but it would be exciting if one does happen to spark, wouldn't it? WOULDN'T IT?!!!

'Geek' or 'God', 'Disgust' or 'Delight', 'Elimination' or 'Everlasting'???
THE WORLD CUP 2002

To use a colloquialism, HAIYA!!! The World Cup is just around the corner but obviously not near enough for certain quarters. I must say I still cannot fathom the attraction to this game where men run about in baggy shorts and knee socks trying to kick a ball around. By the way, why is the ball coloured black and white?

Most of the men I know swear that life without football is almost not worth living. Where does the fascination come from? How did it germinate? From conversations with fanatics, it seems to start when they're young. If you're a boy between the impressionable ages of 5-12, and you're exposed to football (either virtual or reality), you're very likely to become a footie junkie as you grow into adulthood. If you were not, the addiction rarely takes hold later on.

(I cannot believe I am talking so much about football!) Time to move on....one last thought though....
The World Cup is Not My Cup of Tea!!!

It starts... when?..... 5 weeks on?
Yahoo! News - Odd Portrait Has Many Guessing Shakespeare Was Gay

Aha! What do you think of that? Although it is extremely interesting to conjecture if Shakespeare was gay, I must say it is terribly common for the 'noble' people of yester-ages to dress elaborately. By today's standards some people would definitely think that they dressed rather femininely! But I won't say anything concrete on the subject especially since I am neither a poet nor an expert on the trends of yesteryears or gay habits. To each his own!!!

Did you know that I just read in the papers that homosexual activity abounds sometimes not because the man is gay but because they have limited access to women and other men and boys just happen to be the most attractive of the available options.
This has been an exciting morning. It's always a boost to learn something new especially when it has to do with the Internet. But it has to be interesting and new. I found out, through a very special friend, about Blogger.com and how it posts these messages to my website. And now I can share my day with people around the world! So, now all I am waiting to see is if Blogger really makes you feel like you're the 'King of the Worldddddd'.

I shall be returning. Keep in touch!
